-Immediate Protection: Mineral sunscreens work by creating a physical barrier on the skin that reflects and scatters UV radiation, providing immediate protection upon application. In contrast, chemical sunscreens need approximately 20 minutes to be absorbed into the skin before becoming effective.

SPF, or Sun Protection Factor, is a measure of a sunscreen's ability to protect the skin from harmful UV radiation. An SPF rating indicates how long it will take for UVB rays to redden the skin when using the sunscreen compared to not using any sunscreen at all. An SPF of 30 means that it will take 30 times longer for the skin to burn with the sunscreen compared to without it.

We carefully selected the zinc oxide dispersion particle size to minimize the white cast on all skin tones. This, in combination with a blend of emollients and ingredients to enhance the dispersion of Zinc Oxide in the formula, are what contribute to the decreased white cast, even application, and broad-spectrum protection. Our goal for this formula was not only to protect the skin from UV damage, but also maximize the skin’s hydration.

Sunscreen products must comply with specific regulatory requirements, which vary by each country where they are sold. At this time, Hydrasheer™ is only available to purchase in the US but we are continually evaluating opportunities to expand our product availability.
