Avoid Fragrance
Fragrances are common irritants for sensitive skin and can even sensitize skin over time, making it more reactive to other ingredients or environmental factors.
PATCH TEST
Perform a patch test before using new products to check for irritation or redness. Apply a small amount of the product and wait 24-48 hours.
KEEP IT SIMPLE
Avoid complicated skincare routines, which can overwhelm sensitive skin and lead to irritation. Cleanser, Prep Serum, Moisturizer (and an SPF!) are all you need for healthy, hydrated skin.
PROTECT THE SKIN BARRIER
A healthy skin barrier shields against irritants while a compromised barrier can lead to heightened reactions, resulting in redness, inflammation, and discomfort. Avoid harsh ingredients and moisturize regularly to help maintain your barrier.
